Experiential Learning Content

Tentative itinerary is provided below. The confirmed itinerary will be shared after receipt of confirmation and 10 days before the travel date. A pre-departure briefing will be conducted two weeks prior to the travel date, covering key program content, travel logistics, and important cultural considerations.

Day 1 (Sunday): Arrival in Japan

  • 13:00 – Arrival at Haneda/Narita Airport
  • 14:30 – Transfer to the hotel and check-in
               – Hotel: LYF Ginza Tokyo (Ginza)
  • 15:30 – Rest / Relax / Get over Jetlag

Day 2 (Monday): Arrival in Japan and Welcome Party

  • 10:00Orientation and Welcome Party at Global Village Yurakucho House
  • 12:00 – Introduction to Japanese cuisine workshop (professional chef will explain the foundations of Japanese cuisine (ichi-juu, san-sai) and participants will have the opportunity to bond with university students about food culture around the world while enjoying a traditional Japanese meal
  • 15:00Visit Project Company: Refer to the attached list of companies
  • 20:00 – Return to hotel

Day 3 (Tuesday): Class + Company Visit

  • 09:00 – Breakfast at hotel
  • 10:30Class at Japanese university (60 min) + campus tour + lunch
               – University Partner: Keio University (Mita Campus)
               – PEARL (Programme in Economics for Alliances, Research and Leadership) – Faculty of Economics
  • 15:00Company Visit: Refer to the attached list of companies
  • 17:00 – Free evening for sightseeing in the central Marunouchi/Ginza area (key sightseeing locations: Tokyo station, Marunouchi and Ginza shopping districts, Imperial Palace); return to hotel upon finishing.

Day 4 (Wednesday): International Project Work + Company Visit

  • 10:00Project work session – Research and brainstorming with small lunch
               – Work on the Project Company’s case study with English-speaking university students
                  at Global Village Yurakucho House
  • 15:00Company visit
               – Tour of innovative Japanese company focusing on robotics, AI, and advanced technologies

Day 5 (Thursday): International Project Work + Cultural Activity

              – Work on the Project Company’s case study with English-speaking university students
                 at Global Village Yurakucho House
  • 14:00 – Visit Asakusa cultural district of Tokyo (20 min. from Global Village Yurakucho House by metro)
              – Cultural Activity: Kimono (Kimono Dressing Experience)
  • 18:00 – Tempura dinner at Asakusa
  • 21:00 – Return to hotel

Day 6 (Friday): Business Leader Session + Company Visit

Program Fee

USD 3100 per participant

Includes

Participation in all classes, international project, experiential learning and cultural content, travel expenses within Japan, & certification as per itinerary.
6-night accommodation on a sharing basis (two to a room), breakfast and select meals throughout the trip–including private sessions with Japanese chef–visits to major sightseeing destinations around Tokyo, including Tokyo Skytree, the Imperial Palace, the Asakusa and Ginza districts, all local transportation as per itinerary, all taxes included.

Airfare and anything not listed above is not included.

Payment Terms

  • 70% of the program fee payable for confirmation.
  • 30% payable 30 days before travel date.
  • A late payment fee of USD 60 will apply for any payments delayed beyond the given payment deadline dates.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Refunds for hotel bookings cannot be provided once booked, as these are secured under group booking terms.
  • Refunds for other booked visits will depend on the refund policy of the respective service providers.
