Learning Outcome
The intern will design, model, fabricate and fly their own UAV that can be customised for any industrial application.

The interns will have a thorough hands-on understanding of all aspects of UAV and DRONES and their application in various industries. Thus opening for them a plethora of opportunities in this booming sector that is constantly in news for newer and more futuristic applications by some of the most well-known companies like Amazon, Google, Shell Oil, BBC, Walmart, DHL, Apple, IBM and more.
What will be covered in 8 weeks during the project

 

Week 1 Introduction to UAV and its Applications
Week 2 Design Criteria to build an UAV
Week 3 Building the Mechanical system
Week 4 Building the Electrical system
Week 5 Building the Communication system
Week 6 Building the Payload- application perspective
Week 7 Design Calculation
Week 8 Selection of Components

 

Important Note
The components for fabrication of the UAV will have to be bought by the intern separately and will cost between Rs 7,500 – Rs 10,000 per person when working in teams of two interns each.

For those who do not want to buy components they can still do the internship and complete the steps 1 – 7 in 4 weeks.
