Global Trainee Programme – Onsite

During the Global Trainee Programme, participants intern with a world class Innovation Hub established by Ureka Education Group UK in association with Rochester Institute of Technology New York at their sprawling Dubai campus.

The Innovation Internship will help students from different streams to work on the following:-

• Research, evaluate and collate information on Innovative Ideas and Trends from their industry / subject area from around the world.
• Network with international experts from different countries working on innovative ideas and products form their industry / subject area.
• Understand the business and commercial side of innovation and how to create and implement business models.

• Work with the best of Innovators from your respective field
• Gain deep knowledge of industry
• Get international work experience and network
• Understand the business and commercial side of any field
• Explore future career opportunities along with a great working environment

This programme is run by a Global Innovation Hub situated in a premier US university; thus, it is able to customise the programme for any field as ‘Innovation’ is critical and applicable to all fields. Thus, each participant, irrespective of the field they come from get the opportunity to work with the best minds in their field as they research, evaluate and collate information on Innovative Ideas and Trends from their industry / subject area.

The participants will be working on identifying the latest innovative products and practices in their respective subject area from around the world, find out the people and companies involved, connect with them and invite them to the Innovation Hub for collaboration and knowledge exchange and evaluate the impact of their work by producing an impact report.

Participants not only get international work experience, but also get to connect and network with professionals from their industry, attend industry events, learn new things, develop both soft and hard skills required for successful career, get certificates and recommendations to showcase their work and finally lay foundation for a success in their career.

1. Participants will know about the latest trends & innovations of the sector / industry they are interested in.
2. They will be able to connect and network with key people from their industry / sector from around the world.
3. They will be preparing an impact report on one or more of the industry trends they have identified.
4. All of the above along with International Internship Certificate and Recommendation Letter will help in them in their career.

No, participants don’t get paid for the internship.

Yes, the programme fee is USD 1000 for the 4 weeks programme, it includes all of the things listed below. In addition, we assure you of a great learning experience with fabulous work environment.

We charge a fee for doing this Internship of several reasons as below: –

• We invest considerable resources in training and mentoring each participant.
• Although this is a not-for-profit initiative but we still need to keep it sustainable for a wider impact.
• The value that a participant gets in terms of learning, experience, global network and potential opportunities is much more than the fee charged.

Yes, the chances of getting a job or other career opportunities are very high because you connect and work with relevant industry people from around the world. They not only get to know you but also see your work thus the chances of your work converting to employment offers is very high. But of course, we cannot guarantee a job as no one could, it all depends on a multitude of factors beyond our control.

No, accommodation is not provided but we will provide full support in getting a suitable option near the office. There are multiple options that a participant can choose from, the prices start from USD 350 per month for a shared accommodation in good quality service apartments.

Participants join the programme on regular 30 days visit visa. UAE offers one of the most simple and easy online visa application process and a number of countries have visa on arrival facility. Please speak to us for more details, we can facilitate the visa process.

You need to submit an online application that requires you to submit a Statement of Purpose along with your CV. The selection will be made on the basis of application and an online interview.

All participants between the ages of 16 – 25 years can apply for this programme, irrespective of their current educational status.

The programme is offered year around with start dates of 1st of every alternate month. Participants once selected can choose their start month/year.

We offer limited number of internships every month, hence, please apply at the earliest to reserve your place even if you want to join at a later date.

No, unfortunately at this point of time there are no scholarships or funding available. Participants will have to bear the cost themselves.
