Ureka Financial Grant Opportunity

To support outstanding academic leaders and expand access to this global experience, all participants are eligible to apply for a Financial Grant from Ureka Education Group, covering up to 33% of the program cost (USD 2,000). The grant is awarded as a reduction in the program fee and is applied directly toward the course cost (it is not disbursed to the participant).
The selection process is merit-based and designed to identify candidates with strong leadership potential, a clear vision for impact, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing education within their institutions and communities.

  • To be considered, applicants are required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) (maximum 600 words) addressing the following:

“How will your participation in the Academic Leadership Suite enable you to drive institutional transformation, influence education policy, and create measurable, long-term impact within your academic ecosystem and beyond?”
Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to attend a brief online interview, which forms a part of the final selection process.

Global Education Week

Global Education Week at UNITAR Geneva, hosted within the United Nations in Geneva, is a flagship international forum dedicated to shaping the future of education. This in-person gathering brings together three core programs – the Academic Leadership Suite (ALS), AI for Educators, and the Global Education Summit (GES) – within a unified, high-level environment. It is a comprehensive, high-level forum that connects leadership development, practical innovation, and global policy dialogue within one integrated setting. By combining these programs, Global Education Week creates a unique ecosystem where academic leaders, educators, and decision-makers can engage across institutional, technological, and policy dimensions of education.
As part of this flagship forum, ALS participants gain dedicated access to one full day of the Global Education Summit, where they engage directly with Ministry of Education officials, alongside senior education policymakers and decision-makers from around the world. This exposure provides a rare opportunity to participate in high-level discussions, gain first-hand insight into global education priorities, and build meaningful connections that support long-term collaboration and institutional impact.
In addition, Global Education Week provides a stage for the launch of the Geneva Declaration on the Future of Education, followed by an official press release. ALS participants will have the distinction of being signatories to the Geneva Declaration, formally endorsing its shared vision for advancing education worldwide and contributing directly to this landmark global initiative.

Program Fee

USD 6,000 per participant. However Participants awarded the Ureka Financial Grant will benefit from a reduced total fee of USD 4,000.
